Mere days are left until we hear the famous „Offff theeey wennnnnt!” call again.
The horses will start their first race at Służewiec Racecourse in 2016 on Sunday, 17th April, at 14.00. 8 races are taking place during the first day of the season.

Last Sunday was the last racing day in the 71th season at the Służewiec Racecourse. During 54 racing days there were 463 races for Thoroughbred horses, Arabian horses and French trotters. In the finished season the Warsaw racecourse was visited by 47 percent more people than in the previous year, and the undisputed star of the finished season was Va Bank, the winner of triple crown and the Great Warsaw Race.

Wielka Warszawska Race (The Great Warsaw Race) is coming. One of the oldest Polish races for three-year-old and older full-blooded English horses is taking place on a distance of 2600 m on the 27th of September on the Służewiec Racecourse. Once again we will be transported into the climate of Warsaw from the last mid-century!

This Sunday, 5th July, the Służewiec Racecourse will host the most prestigious, alongside the Great Warsaw Race, event of the horse racing season in Poland – Derby for the President of the Republic of Poland Cup. On this day, so much sports-related excitement will be accompanied by many other attractions, including a contest for the most beautiful hat for the ladies.
Below you could find the most important informations about conference

On 27th-31st May 2015, a conference dedicated to pure Arabian-bred horse racing – The World Arabian Horse Racing Conference is taking place in Warsaw.

In the first half of April, just after Easter, the Polish Jockey Club in collaboration with, among others, Totalizator Sportowy (National Lottery company) and Służewiec Racetrack, sent a group of 11 young riders for 5-day, intensive training at British Racing School in Newmarket, England.

Dark weather scenarios did not come to pass, thus the start of the 2015 season at Służewiec saw a multitude of spectators. As in a Hitchcock movie, it started with an earthquake, namely with a win of Trawers, second last in pre-race forecasts. The fate of favourites was also difficult in most of the other races. The only horse returning “with the shield” was the great racing Arab Westim, but even this horse had to work very hard to remain undefeated.
