Wojciech Ryniak passed away. Funeral on Friday in Wólka Węglowa
At age 65, a great jockey Wojciech Ryniak died on Monday 2 December. The funeral is held on Friday at 3 p.m. in the municipal cemetery in Wólka Węglowa.

Wojciech Ryniak took part in the race in Służewiec in 1966 for the first time, and three years later won the hundredth race and became a jockey. He worked and rode in the stables managed by the trainers: Piotr Czarnecki, Mieczysław Żuber, Małgorzata Łojek, Arkadiusz Goździk, Józef Paliński and Andrzej Walicki. He raced until 2005. He won 941 races. He gained the most important victory in the Great Warsaw Race: on Iranda (1976) and Dziaków (1979). In addition, he won the Awards of St. Leger on Nimrod (1993), Oaks on Ginerwa (1970), and Spring three times (Squadron – 1969, Gerunda – 1973, Kofeina – 1979). He became famous as a master of riding on two-year-old horses. He won the Award of the Minister of Agriculture three times (Ibis – 1968, Frombork – 1971, Talizman – 1994), and Mokotów twice (Diogenes – 1972, Przystóp – 1981). He also rode very well on Arabian horses. He won the Derby twice (Orgia – 1979, Dziewierz – 1993) and Oaks five times (Orgia, Sanna – 1981, Wydra – 1982, Estepona – 1988, Dracena – 1992).
Wojciech Ryniak, of blessed memory, was a cheerful and commonly liked man. The track regulars will remember him as such person.
